Anyone know of a place to hunt doves, pay or otherwise, in the north Raleigh area, Louisburg, Roxboro, Durham, Mebane areas? Haven’t been in years and would like to join a hunt. Thanks in advance. Please reply to mcorbett@nc.rr.com.

Hey check out Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve, LLC is located in south eastern Harnett county on the north prong (Black’s Swamp) of Anderson Creek off of Hwy 210, between Lillington and Spring Lake in North Carolina not a bad drive from Raleigh. I’ve been there a couple of times for opening day….it’s either been absolutely fantastic or a dud, never seems to be in the middle. http://andersoncreekhunting.com/

2013 Opening Day for Dove Hunting, NC

Opening Day is Monday, September 2nd. Shooting starts 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. Check regulations! http://www.ncwildlife.org/Hunting/SeasonsLimits.aspx Attendees are encouraged to come out before hand if you plan on starting at the pre-sun-up time. Please contact us so we can schedule a time to escort you. $75.00 for the day, including pig picking. Children under 16 will be just the price of lunch, $10.00. Children under 10, $5.00. Guest welcome for the price of lunch. $25.00 per day after opening day, on Saturdays or by appointment.
