    I finally got the skinny on this.. We must have a copy of ID and do a Nics check on police officers for pistol sales.

    NO Handgun permit required for police officers now….

    HOWEVER YOU COULD BE PUT ON DELAY AND MAKE 5 DAYS …

    THIS CAN HAPPEN IF YOU HAVE A COMMON NAME OR OTHER PROBLEMS.
